Transportation is a very interdisciplinary topic with profound implications in daily life. The Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation brings together researchers to discuss their latest high-quality research results and exchange views on the future of transportation. This Special Issue consolidates some of this research, primarily around the topics of transportation modeling, logistics, traffic control, and behavior modeling.
