The first VeRoLog Conference took place in Bologna, Italy from 18th to 20th of June, 2012.

The number of registered paricipants was above 150.

The conference programme included 126 invited and contributed talks, 3 plenaries (Rolf Moehring, Gilbert Laporte/Matteo Fischetti, Michel Gendreau) and 1 Tutorial (Tore Gruenert).

During the conference Bjorn Petersen received the VeRoLog Doctoral Dissertation Prize and Paolo Toth was nominated VeRoLog Fellow for his outstanding contribution to Vehicle Routing Research.
