EURO Practitioners’ Forum 4th Annual Conference

OR as a resilient technology: How OR reacts and adapts to disruptive changes and future challenges

20 April, 2023 (1:30pm) – 21 April, 2023 (4pm), Zuse Institute Berlin

Preliminary programme

During this event we want to explore the use of OR techniques in unpredictable situations that cause disruptive changes to established processes. Crisis situations might be a result of political or economic events, natural disasters or social upheaval. Radical changes can also be induced by technological advances.

Talks by plenary speakers will cover a wide range of aspects, including a discussion of the impact of AI and Quantum Computing, and reactions to worldwide disease spread and geopolitical challenges, such as the recent major crises that have put the global supply chains under pressure.

Submission guidelines

We invite submissions on subjects that showcase the use of OR techniques in the face of disruptive changes, explaining how existing solutions could be adapted or which new solutions have been developed to cope with previously unforeseen challenges.

Please use one of these template files for preparing your submission, a (maximum of) 1-page abstract in MS Word or PDF format, and send it to [email protected]
