Special Session: Behavioral Operations Management – International Working Seminar on Production Economics

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 24th International Working Seminar on Production Economics, to be held in Innsbruck, Austria, from February 23 to 27, 2026.

The seminar provides a unique platform for researchers and practitioners to present and develop ideas at the interface of engineering, economics, and management to advance knowledge that improves industrial practice and decision-making (see CfP_IWSPE 2026 v5).

A special session will be devoted to Behavioral Operations Management, exploring the human and behavioral factors influencing supply chain and operations management decisions and performance.

We invite you to submit abstracts. Abstract submissions are due by November 15, 2025 (an extension). Full papers are due by January 14, 2026.

Please note that presentations at the seminar may be considered for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Production Economics.

We look forward to your contributions and to welcoming you to Innsbruck in February 2026.
