Dr. Salimeh Pour Mohammad is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics (Teaching Focused) at the University of Warwick Business School. Before joining WBS, she was a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of MSc Business Analytics at the University of Exeter Business School. She was also a member of the University-Wide Data Science Education Committee as well as the Accreditations and Ranking group at Exeter University. Before that, Salimeh worked as a lecturer for UG and PG programs at the University of West London Business School, where she led management courses in four international campuses (UAE, China, Cyprus and London) from the London campus. Salimeh has also worked as a lecturer and as a lead tutor at The University of Hull. Her teaching style is based on a systemic pedagogical approach. She applies some of the second-order cybernetics principles and the science of effective management to facilitate viable and effective educational experiences for students. She creates new educational and management options through designing and implementing learning and management interventions. She also employs recursive performance improvements at various interconnected education management levels. Her academic passion and practice have been recognized through the "Outstanding Performance Award" at Exeter Business School, " The Star Award" at the University of West London Business School, and the "Best Tutor Award" at the University of Hull Business School. At PhD level, Salimeh specialized in Business Analytics, OR, Social Networks Analytics, and Performance. She also holds an MBA and a first-class BSc. in Pure Mathematics. Salimeh is currently focusing on Leadership in Business Analytics Education, Future-fit Business Analytics Curriculum and Teaching, and Measuring Students’ Educational Gains in Business Analytics. She is a Senior Fellow of HEA (SFHEA) and passionately supports junior colleagues in their academic development journeys. She also serves the wider academia as a: * Reviewer/Assessor of the National Teaching Fellow Scheme (NTFS) of Advance HE (Higher Education Academy) * Aurora Mentor for Leadership Development Initiative of Advance HE (Higher Education Academy) Before her academic career, Salimeh worked in management roles in the private sector. Her industry experience in the UK is in the capacity of service quality management in social and healthcare organizations. Internationally, she has worked as an international business analyst in the manufacturing industry for operations management working with suppliers from Germany, Italy, and China.
