PhD candidate in Engineering and Management at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon. My research field is related to Behavioural Operational Research and Multicriteria Decision Analysis applied to Web-Delphi participatory processes and decision conferences. Currenlty I am exploring the methodological approaches used throughout the product life cycle of medical devices to understand how can a MCDA perspective aid early-stage design decisions.
BSc and MSc in Production Engineering. During my Masters, I worked on the prioritisation of patients eligible for Intensive Care Unit (ICU ) beds from the perspective of Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). As a result, a decision support model was built to aid the selection of requests to ICU care access within the decision-making scope of a public regulatory health centre of a Brazilian state. In February 2022, I enrolled in the PhD programme in Engineering and Management at IST.
