Max worked in OR in central government and British Coal for over 10 years, before moving to Sheffield Business School where he was a principal lecturer for over 25 years. He is now director of the Public Sector Scorecard Research Unit promoting the PSS which he developed in 2001 and has been used in six continents. He is a Fellow of the OR Society and author of the book Delivering Excellence in Health and Social Care. He is an experienced plenary speaker and workshop facilitator.
