ICDSST 2027 (Chania, Greece)

The ICDSST 2027 will be jointly organised by the Euro-Working Group on Decision Support System (EWG-DSS) and the Technical University of Crete, Greece. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogues and collaboration, encouraging forward-thinking decision approaches that align DSS technology with long-term societal, business and organisational prosperity.

The 13th International Conference on Decision Support Systems Technology (ICDSST 2027) will centre on the theme “Responsible AI and Decision Support Systems in the Knowledge Economy”. AI now shapes how organisations and societies produce, share and act on knowledge, and that makes the way we design and govern these systems as important as what they can do. The conference focuses around how decision support systems can keep AI accountable and useful, and how they help turn knowledge into good decisions in firms, public bodies and society at large.

We welcome academics, researchers, developers, practitioners, innovators and policymakers to share their work and find collaborators. We are interested in methodologies, processes, models, tools, frameworks and applications, and in questions of transparency and explainability, fairness, human oversight of automated decisions, data governance, regulatory compliance, and the value of knowledge-intensive decision support. ICDSST has always reached well past technology alone, and we equally welcome work on the organisational, ethical, behavioural and policy sides of responsible AI in decision support.
