We are particularly interested in attracting a wide range of diverse talent from around the world, to challenge what we do, add new strengths to our research and education, and take advantage of the unrivalled opportunities that exist at the World’s Number 1 University for Sports Related Studies.
Our vision is that technology can enhance the experience, performance and safety of anyone involved in sport. Our research has impacted products, services and standards in ball sports, personal protective equipment, playing surfaces, cycling, footwear, apparel and wearable technology. We have ambitious plans to grow our research group and would welcome applications from anyone with a relevant research background wishing to apply their expertise in the field. Relevant areas of research include, but are not limited to: statistical modelling, data analytics and AI in sport; sustainability; design for inclusivity and diversity; textiles, apparel and footwear.”
