OR in Sports at IFORS 2026

There will be a stream on “OR in Sports” in the 24th Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies – IFORS 2026, which will take place in Vienna, Austria, from July 12-17, 2026. This “OR in Sports” stream will cover both applications and methodologies (such as optimization, scheduling, statistics, data analytics, and economics).

Abstract submissions (in English) are open at https://www.euro-online.org/conf/ifors2026/. When submitting, make sure to indicate the stream you are submitting to, which is “OR in sports”.

The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2026.

You are also welcome and encouraged to organize a session for this stream. Each session is 90 minutes long and consists of 3 to 5 presentations. Should you be interested in organizing a session, please contact the Area Chair, Celso Ribeiro, by email at celso@ic.uff.br with a tentative title proposal (it can be changed later).
