The 2016 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference marks our 10th annual conference. Founded in 2006 by Daryl Morey and Jessica Gelman, it is the largest sports conference in the world. SSAC is a student-run conference with many former student leads now holding management positions in sports. Today, the SSAC has grown from 125 attendees in MIT classrooms to an anticipated 3,500+ at this year’s conference held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
