14 years have passed since the twenty-fifth EURO Winter Institute on Location and Logistics held in Estoril, Portugal, in 2007. It was the last one devoted to locational analysis and five laureates of previous Summer/Winter Institutes felt it was high time to organise another one devoted to location science, taking place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from the 11th to the 24th of June 2022. The event will be hosted by The University of Edinburgh and the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS), under the patronage and sponsorship of EURO.
