HAKAN GULTEKIN is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. He received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkiye. His research interests include scheduling, optimization modeling, and exact and heuristic algorithm development, particularly for problems arising in modern manufacturing systems, transportation systems, energy systems, and wireless sensor networks.
