Ebert Brea

Dr Brea is a Full Professor of the School of Electrical Engineering at the Central University of Venezuela. He received his PhD from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Southampton, a MSc degree in Operational Research and a five-year BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the Central University of Venezuela. His research interests include Monte Carlo simulation, development of simulation models of discrete event dynamic systems, (Meta)heuristic optimisation algorithm design, optimisation by simulation and mixed integer optimisation. Dr Brea has lately been working in the development and study of a new algorithm method for solving mixed integer nonlinear optimisation problems by using, what he has so called Game of Patterns, and whose article is available at http://ieomsociety.org/bogota2017/proceedings/
