There will be a stream on \u201cOR in Sports\u201d in the 24th Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies – IFORS 2026, which\u00a0will take place in Vienna, Austria, from July 12-17, 2026.\u00a0This “OR in Sports”\u00a0stream\u00a0will cover both applications and methodologies (such as optimization, scheduling, statistics, data analytics, and economics).<\/p>\n

Abstract submissions (in English) are open at\u00a0https:\/\/www.euro-online.org\/conf\/ifors2026\/<\/a>. When submitting, make sure to indicate the stream you are submitting to, which is “OR in sports”.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2026.<\/p>\n

You are also welcome and encouraged to organize a session for this stream. Each session is 90 minutes long and consists of 3 to 5 presentations. Should you be interested in organizing a session, please contact the Area Chair, Celso Ribeiro, by email at celso@ic.uff.br<\/a> with a tentative title proposal (it can be changed later).<\/p>\n
