SUMMARY:The 2015 New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports
DESCRIPTION:The 2015 New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports will be a meeting of statisticians\, statistical researchers\, and quantitative analysts connected with sports teams\, sports media\, and universities to discuss common problems of interest in statistical modeling and analysis of sports data. The symposium format will be a mixture of invited talks\, a poster session\, and a panel discussion. Students in particular are encouraged to submit abstracts; a prize will be awarded to the best student poster as decided by a panel of judges. \nAbstracts for talks and posters are now requested\, and should be submitted on the online abstract submission form. The submission deadline for abstracts is June 15\, 2015. Desicions for accepting abstracts will be made by June 30\, 2015. \nRegistration information\, including fees and methods of payment\, can be found at http://www.nessis.org/registration.html
