Adebola Glorious Adekoya

Adekoya Adebola Glorious is a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration. He is currently the Deputy Post-Graduate II and Post-Graduate Diploma Coordinator of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Lagos. He is a Researcher, Decision Analysts and Administrator. He has more than 22 years of professional and academic experience in various companies and institutions and in different capacities. Prior to joining the department of Business Administration, University of Lagos in 2009, he had served as the Lagos Branch Manager of Techno Infra Habitat Consultant Ltd and Logistics/sales Manager for Kaybecks Nigeria Ltd. He had served as an Assessor for ICAN professional exam in Business Communication and Research Management and currently an Assessor on Business Finance. He has served as an examiner for Operations Research for Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) professional examinations. He was a supervisor for Universities Matriculation Examinations. He is a Full Member, Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences of Nigeria (IORMS). A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (USA) Nigeria Chapter. A student Member of both the Academy of Management Nigeria and Academy of World Business, Marketing, and Management Development (AWBMMD). A member of the Business Committee of Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Lagos, and the Faculty Adviser 2 to Entrepreneurial Action in Us (ENACTUS) Unilag Student Chapter. He is a part-time lecturer at the John Hope University Business School and McPherson University. Dr. Adekoya obtained his PhD in Operations Research (Business Administration) at the University of Lagos. He received his M.Sc. as the best graduating student in Operations Research specialization, and B.Sc. (Business Administration) degrees also from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Bachelor of Theology from the L.I F. E. Theological Seminary Ikorodu, Lagos State. Dr. Adekoya is a prolific researcher, publishing internationally in peer-reviewed journals. A seasoned teacher, who has taught undergraduate and graduate students (M.Sc. and MBA) providing them with the understanding and application of Quantitative Techniques, Operations Management, Production System, Product, Service, and Process Design, Mathematical Programming, Philosophy and Methodology of Operations Research, and Application of Operations Research Models in Decision-Making and Management. As a course adviser, he successfully produced seven first class students with one of them, for the first time from the Faculty of Management Sciences (then Faculty of Business Administration), was the best graduating student in Humanities in the year 2017. He has supervised over 200 undergraduate project students and 30 postgraduates (MSc and MBA). He has published and co-authored articles in several local and International Journals. Dr. Adekoya has attended several training courses, workshops, and conferences like the AABS Teaching the Practice of Management workshop, Elsevier South-East Asia Publishing Workshop, Capacity Building Workshop on Strengthening Multidisciplinary Research, International Academy of African Business and Development (IAABD) conference, Academy of world Business Marketing and Management Development (AWBMAMD), International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (ISAHP) and African Research Security Consortium (ARSC). He has analytical skills in the usage of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), Excel Solver and Super Decisions Lens 3.2.0. and he is the Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church, Bako Estate in Lagos State, Nigeria.
