SUMMARY:Operations Research towards Technology Transfer: from Data to Actionable Knowledge
DESCRIPTION:Save the date: on September 5th\, 2019\, in the wonderful city of Genoa (Italy) will take place the workshop Operations Research towards Technology Transfer: from Data to Actionable Knowledge. \nThe meeting will bring together companies and researchers to exchange ideas\, knowledge and expertise\, promote collaborations and outline the forthcoming landscape for Operational Research driven innovation. \nFurthermore\, the workshop will be the opportunity to illustrate successful examples on the integration between Operational Research and Machine Learning and to foster a discussion on the potential for development in areas such as Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. \nPractitioners and transfer facilitators in OR and Analytics\, from academia\, OR start-up\, spin-off and intermediary organizations\, are invited to present their experiences in exploiting the synergy of Operational Research with data analytics\, artificial intelligence and machine learning to enable more effective business decisions and more productive systems. \nThe workshop is organized in the framework of the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science – ODS 2019 (Genoa\, Italy – 4-7 September 2019)\, in the wonderful city of Genoa (Italy)\, simultaneously with the XLIX Annual Meeting of AIRO\, the Italian Operations Research Society.
