It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogues and collaboration\, encouraging forward-thinking decision approaches that align DSS technology with long-term societal\, business and organisational prosperity. \nThe conference will centre on the theme “Decision Support System Technology for Sustainable and Resilient Transitions” offering a platform to explore how DSS can drive and support a wide range of transition\, green transition\, digital transition\, skills transition\, societal transition\, organisation transition and supply chain transition. We invite academics\, researchers\, developers\, practitioners\, innovators and policymakers to share insights and promote collaborations regarding methodologies\, processes\, models\, tools\, frameworks and applications that contribute to the design\, development and utilisation advanced DSS technologies to support all sorts of transitions. \nICDSST 2026 is the 12th international conference of the ICDSST series\, built upon streams of activities organised by EWG-DSS over three decades.

DESCRIPTION:The ICDSST 2027 will be jointly organised by the Euro-Working Group on Decision Support System (EWG-DSS) and the Technical University of Crete\, Greece. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogues and collaboration\, encouraging forward-thinking decision approaches that align DSS technology with long-term societal\, business and organisational prosperity. \nThe 13th International Conference on Decision Support Systems Technology (ICDSST 2027) will centre on the theme “Responsible AI and Decision Support Systems in the Knowledge Economy”. AI now shapes how organisations and societies produce\, share and act on knowledge\, and that makes the way we design and govern these systems as important as what they can do. The conference focuses around how decision support systems can keep AI accountable and useful\, and how they help turn knowledge into good decisions in firms\, public bodies and society at large. \nWe welcome academics\, researchers\, developers\, practitioners\, innovators and policymakers to share their work and find collaborators. We are interested in methodologies\, processes\, models\, tools\, frameworks and applications\, and in questions of transparency and explainability\, fairness\, human oversight of automated decisions\, data governance\, regulatory compliance\, and the value of knowledge-intensive decision support. ICDSST has always reached well past technology alone\, and we equally welcome work on the organisational\, ethical\, behavioural and policy sides of responsible AI in decision support.
