Special Issue: Collaborative Decision Processes and Analysis

Guest Editors: Pascale Zaraté, Fátima Dargam

  • Deadline for submission: October 1, 2014

Motivation

Across most application areas, several trends and technologies are making it possible for decision makers at different levels of organizations to reach decisions faster by improving their collaborative decision processes. These processes involve much more information than before, and they are also increasingly decentralized and distributed. Moreover, experiences from best practices in making decisions on business applications suggest that collaborative platforms need to be equipped with strong analytical capabilities in order to make the most use of available data. In this setting, EURO Journal of Decision Processes (EJDP) will explore methodological advances on the topic of "Collaborative Decision Processes and Analysis".

Contents

The Guest Editors seek state of the art reviews and research papers that demonstrate that how decision making professionals have sought to implement and use Collaborative Decision Processes and Analysis to address timely challenges. Topics of particular interest include but are not limited to: Decision Dashboard Analysis; DM Social Networks Analysis; Web Semantic for Collaborative Decision Processes; Group Preferences Co‐Decisions.

Established by the Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO), EJDP publishes research that advances the understanding and appropriate use of operational research in supporting decision making processes (see http://www.springer.com/40070).
