Guest editors: M. Schneider, T. Gschwind and D. Vigo

  • Deadline to submit manuscripts: November 15, 2016
The number and quality of talks given at the VeRoLog conference (Nantes) and special track at EURO (Poznan) show that vehicle routing and logistics are still two of the most active research areas for the operations research community. Following these two events, the EURO Journal in Transportation and Logistics organizes two special issues aiming to establish the landscape of the state of the art in the field. The topics covered in these special issues include (but are not limited to):\r\n
  • \tElectric vehicle routing\r\n
  • \tStochastic vehicle routing\r\n
  • \tDynamic vehicle routing\r\n
  • \tVehicle routing with synchronization\r\n
  • \tInventory routing\r\n
  • \tMulti-objective vehicle routing problems\r\n
  • \tHome care routing\r\n
  • \tPeriodic vehicle routing\r\n
  • \tReal-world vehicle routing applications\r\n
  • \tArc routing problems\r\n
  • \tNetwork design\r\n
  • \tBike and car sharing\r\n
\r\nSubmissions are open to all, independent of participation in the conferences. All contributions will be peer reviewed according to the usual standards of the journal. \r\n
