Abstract

Recent disruptions have exposed major retail supply chain vulnerabilities and highlighted the need to balance resilience with efficiency. This study proposes a dynamic robust DEA framework to measure the price of resilience over time. The approach distinguishes routine operational uncertainty from disruption-specific shocks and evaluates how resilience initiatives affect performance outcomes in terms of efficiency. It offers a clearer basis for assessing resilience-efficiency trade-offs and supports informed resilience management decisions on a more detailed level within retail supply chains.
