Abstract
Industry 5.0's human-centric promise is untapped for Africa's informal SMEs. We propose a lightweight AI digital twin using sparse mobile data (transactions, voice, metadata) to model performance without IoT. NLP simulates resilience and prescribes interventions. Data from 2200 South African SMMEs shows our model correlates with 27% higher revenue sustainability, mitigating optimism bias to bridge advanced technology with grassroots entrepreneurship for antifragile African ecosystems.
