Abstract

Many choice procedures based on binary relations have been studied in the context of tournaments and weak tournaments. However, little attention has been given to incomplete binary relations — which often arise in practice, such as in multicriteria decision analysis, sports competitions, and social preference modeling with incomplete information.
In this paper, we extend the Gocha choice procedure (Schwartz 1972, 1986) to the case of pseudo-tournaments. We introduce two new choice procedures — SGo and WGo — derived from generalized notions.
