Abstract
Clean hydrogen is central to decarbonizing industry, peak power, and seasonal storage, yet deployment remains limited. Traditional optimization models miss key market and regulatory constraints. This work applies an MCP-based hydrogen market and infrastructure model with an ADMM-inspired algorithm to study transition pathways across sectors, including price elasticity, regulation, risk, and supply choices. It examines how policy and market conditions shape investment, contracting, and uptake in Austria’s H2REAL hydrogen valley.
