Abstract
The assignment problem is a classical optimization challenge encountered in diverse fields. While the Hungarian method remains the most widely adopted solution technique, this research introduces an alternative approach that achieves the same optimal results with improved efficiency when applied to various cases. Comparative analysis demonstrates that, although both methods yield identical outcomes, the alternative method requires fewer computational steps, thereby saving time and enhancing practical applicability in real-world scenarios.
