Abstract
Learn how to use one of the most common but challenging types of data in any organization.
Free text is everywhere, from incoming emails, user queries and internal comments to sensitive information and client related data. Knowing how to properly leverage the latest technologies to make use of that data effectively is a core tool to manage our data dense world.
In this hands on tutorial, we will study how to use embeddings, the technique at the core of LLMs, to transform free text into numbers. We will look the practical case of classifying a type of incoming message so that they reach the correct team automatically and we'll examine different examples on how this technique can be applied to your own use cases and even give you the opportunity to try out the methods yourself.
