Abstract
Last-mile delivery poses numerous challenges to logistic and transportation companies, mostly due to fast delivery times and lack of consolidation opportunities. Both the industrial and research communities have come up with strategies and technologies to tackle the challenges and help companies in reducing costs and remaining competitive. As a consequence, interesting and inspiring optimization problems have emerged which are attracting the attention of many research groups. This short talk will focus on few of them and present recent ideas.
