Abstract
Certified Analytics Professional? Advanced Data Science Professional? Chartered Scientist? Fellow of the Operational Research Society? Each of these standards provides an independent endorsement of your professional skills and practice in a world where, once you have graduated, there are no commonly agreed rules and regulations about what it means to practice well. But is it right for you?
This session will bring together speakers who can introduce each of the different certifications and accreditations mentioned above, and explore the commonalities and differences, benefits and costs, from the point of view of provider, professional and employer; to help you decide whether one of these is a path you would like to follow, and set you off down that path.
