Abstract
The session starts with two presentations done by authors of representative and highly cited papers published recently in EJOR. They represent two categories: Innovative Application of OR, and Theory & Methodology. Some further research developments and practical implications that followed these publications will be given by their authors. Then, the editors of EJOR will explain their editorial policy and will give some current characteristics of the journal. They will also describe their approach to the evaluation and selection of articles and will point out topics of OR that recently raised the highest interest. In the last part of the session, the editors will answer some general questions from the audience.
