Mathematical optimization, including convex and nonconvex optimization, smooth and nonsmooth optimization, scalar and vector optimization, variational analysis, and algorithmic developments, has emerged as a central area of modern mathematics with wide-ranging applications in data science, machine learning, operations research, control theory, aerospace, defense, energy systems, and engineering design. The primary objective of the first ICMOTA 2026 is to provide a platform for presenting and discussing recent advances in optimization theory, computational methods, and their interdisciplinary applications. The conference will bring together leading international and national experts to share state-of-the-art research in mathematical optimization, specialized frameworks such as combinatorial and set-valued optimization, and emerging areas including global optimization.
