The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) of UCLouvain invites
applications for a PhD position in Operations Research.
Research Topics:
We are looking for motivated candidates interested in developing cutting-edge theory and algorithms
in one of the following areas:
• Continuous and Convex Optimization
• Mixed-Integer Linear and Nonlinear Programming
• Decomposition Methods and Large-Scale Optimization
• Applications in Energy Markets, Logistics, or Data Science
Your Profile:
• A Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong background in mathematical programming and algorithm design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Julia, or Python.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (knowledge of French is a good asset but, per se, NOT required).
