The Operations Research Society of South Africa (ORSSA) hosts its prestigious national conference annually providing a vital platform for discussions on OR advancements. The 53rd Annual Conference of the Operations Research Society of South Africa (ORSSA) is proudly hosted by the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the North-West University (NWU).
Delegates are invited to submit an abstract for presentation during one of the 30 minute parallel slots during the conference programme.
Abstracts should preferably be 200 to 500 words and include a problem description, solution technique description, and summary of results. Acceptance into the conference programme is subject to approval of the abstract by the Programme Coordinator. Presentations not accepted into the parallel stream programme could be invited as a poster presentation pending the Programme Coordinator's adjudication. Proceedings will be published of the papers read at ORSSA 2023.
Abstract submission for presentations opened on 15 March 2024 and closes on 30 June 2024.
