As editor-in-chief of Decision Analysis, I am delighted to share the winner and finalist of the Clemen-Kleinmuntz Decision Analysis Best Paper Award, for the best paper published in the journal in 2023.
The winning paper is by Gordon Hazen, Emanuele Borgonovo, and Xuefei Lu, "Information Density in Decision Analysis" Decision Analysis 20(2):89-108. The award comes with a $2,000 cash prize. Funding for the award is provided by an endowment established by the Kleinmuntz Family Foundation.

Roger Chapman Burk and Richard M. Nehring, "An Empirical Comparison of Rank-Based Surrogate Weights in Additive Multiattribute Decision Analysis," Decision Analysis 20(1):55-72.
