Abstract
MATLAB has solvers for engineering and scientific applications where problems range from linear to nonlinear, mixed-integer, and non-smooth. We will present an overview of the latest developments in MATLAB optimization, focusing on two major areas. First, new capabilities in code generation from linear and conic solvers will be shown. This will include running the same code in MATLAB as that run on target hardware. Next, new graphical interfaces for monitoring and investigating the progress of optimization solvers will be presented. Finally, usage of the MATLAB optimization tools will be illustrated with an example.
