Abstract
In this talk, I will briefly review the history of OR in China, and discuss the current situation of OR education, research and application in the country, in cluding the activities of the OR Sociey of China, the major OR related projects supported by the National Natural Foundation of China, and OR education in China. I will also discuss the opportunities and challenges of the OR community in China due to the rapid development of AI and data science.
