Abstract
Deploying optimization software often comes with challenges like software dependencies and compatibility issues. FICO Xpress Workbench and Insight Docker images now address these hurdles, enabling a seamless deployment across all platforms. This approach eliminates installation hassles, enhances the integrated user experience, and lets developers focus on optimization.
In this talk, we will demonstrate the ease of setup and minimal configuration required to achieve a unified development experience across Workbench and Insight using automated Docker-based workflows.
Additionally, we will showcase the end-to-end deployment of a Python-based optimization model, transforming it into a fully operational application with Xpress Insight. Beyond local debugging, we will highlight remote debugging capabilities, enabling developers to debug scenarios executed on a remote Xpress Insight server.
This presentation will provide practical insights into leveraging Docker for optimization workflows, making development and deployment more efficient.
